In the [[1841 census]], Jane is living in Clampitts, Cullompton with [[Grace Aze 020]] (15), William White (50), Elizabeth White (50) and 4 others with the surname White age 8-20, assumed to be William And Elizabeth's children. Occupation: factory.

William White was the informant at [[Samuel Aze 028| Samuel Aze]]'s death in 1839 and Elizabeth White was the informant at the death of Samuel's daughter [[Ann Aze 095| Ann]] in 1840, so the couple were clearly close friends of his family. It is very likely that Jane and Grace were children of Samuel who lived with the Whites following his death.
