AZE genealogy

Have you got the surname 'Aze'? The Aze name has been around in the UK since at least 1196 and Sir Geoffrey Aze, mentioned in the Sussex county rolls. But these days there are not many of them around – something like 60 in the UK, all of whom derive from two families living in Barnstaple, Devon, in the mid 1800s.

So the rarity of the name makes it a gift to people researching their ancestry or doing a family tree. This wiki is some of the efforts of a couple of 21st century Azes, sharing some of what we know.
