William White was the informant at Samuel Aze's death in 1839 and Elizabeth White was the informant at the death of Samuel's daughter Ann in 1840, so the couple were clearly close friends of his family. It is very likely that Grace and Jane were children of Samuel who lived with the Whites following his death.
